Recording Your Cell Phone
Recording Your Cell Phone

When is it time too record your cell phone calls?

There will come a time when you are faced with a decision. Do I continue too have a dialog with this person and not record our conversion, or record what we are saying to cover myself?

There our many reasons why someone may record their conversions, here is my top 3:

1)      You are in a legal battle

We have all run into it before and if you haven’t you will. The time when if that call were recorded it would have saved you thousands in legal fees. Legal issues regarding the recording of phone calls must be considered. Depending on your state, recording your cell phone calls is either a one party notification state or a two party notification state. If you live in a one party notification state your life is a little easier, because as long as you understand that you are being recorded, its legal.

2)      You spend the day the phone and need help remembering what was said

No person can be expected to have a photographic memory and remember every little detail that was expressed on the phone. Getting all the facts can mean all the difference between a sale and a lost client, towering success or bankruptcy.

3)      Don’t leave it too memory

When you don't record conversations you leave things up to memory and that's playing the game recklessly. It's relatively easy to forget details when you're in a hurry.  Sometimes successful business requires that you remember details. You may or may not be able to contact the same person for a repeating of that vital information.  If you're dealing with a very high profile client, then disturbing that client repeatedly is definitely not good for business.
